oof! This is long, a quick review is at the bottom!

I've had a busy go at things, for sure! I got a few commissions done (yeah, one that's been waiting for almost a year now!). Thats good news, the bad news is that it's almost November, and I haven't even started my Christmas gifts!! I usually start in early september.

The plan really was for me to start the animation this weekend (I'm planning a second animation, by the way lol) But I ended up waking up at 3:00 AM Saturday and threw up for the next 11 hours, and ended up in the hospital on IV cause I couldn't keep anything (anything) down. :) I was better the next day though! *shrugs* small flu I guess. I thought it was food poisoning, but the doctor figured virus. Oh well, I'm better now :D

Aaand sorry guys but that Din's Fire FE sprite fun has been removed due to copyright infringement. I'm not exactly sure why THAT particular one was chosen (the other sprites are probably MORE copyright infringing because they weren't altered so much.) Anyway, I'm going to probably remove all of the sprites after school today. Maybe I'll end up sticking them all in a huge .gif file haha.

^^ Second working ocarina made as well! This one is much prettier, but (hah) it doesn't work half as well as the first, not even close. Its got more range of tones, but its hard to hit them because it gets very airy sounding when the holes are open.

Oct. 13th

YEAH I had a great time! We took a fair amount of trucks up the mountain at 1:00 PM (well its not technically a mountain by definition, but its a mountain enough) and rode all the way up on the back of 'em! There was also a dirt bike and a four-wheeler, but whatever. Colors were great! It was an awesome trip! This year there was games at the stops, so people from each truck competed. It was REALLY funny to see the adults do really childish things, like wrapping up people with toilet paper. There was also beer chugging (root beer for the lil ones) and they had the guys race with high heeled shoes on. Three hours later, we got back to a huge turkey dinner :D Loads of people, not as many as last year (I heard it was 70 up the mountain last year, for a total 83 for dinner) It was great! After dinner, we got to have a go at Brawl, MarioKart, Soul Calibur and other such video games before we left at like 11:00 PM *pooped* We even played a bit of hide and seek outside.

I can't wait for the same crew to get together for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day :D And no school today to top it off.

Hey all! (oct. 10th)

Art sale started today, so I added my bits (5 originals, 4 prints and an album of all of my work)

Now I'm just waiting for a (2nd) clay ocarina to cool off (it was in the oven, i was baking it) and ill see if it... works... *nervous*

Schools good! I'm gonna let yous know about my Thanksgiving plans (thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend of course) I guess the deal is I'll be having a family reunion for my dads side, and then the next day, a huge trip and meal with my moms side! I LOVE the anual trip, ill give you details on it after I get back, probably on Monday :D no school.

ps. Did I mention that a few weeks back, I checked out that ol' runescape to see whats happening (it had been over a year and a half since i quit cold turkey lol) and now it won't even run on my pc. What did they do to it?

October 2nd

*RAH*
Grad picture proofs came today :D I'm probably gonna scan em and take out the watermark. Another picture came too, a picture that I have to draw. That puts the commissions of stuff I neeed to do at 4. Plus the yearbook project, plus my personal project. crap.

Chemistry test is NOT tomorrow, thats why I'm on the computer and not studying. Also art sale is coming up in less that a WEEK AND I HAVE ONLY 5 PIECES CRAP Im so lazy

Angry News : chem test monday, loads of extra art to do. And i feel like drawing 100 different versions of manga eyes instead.

Happy News : Dad got a motorbike, and I'm gonna learn how to use it!

Sept. 27th 2008

Working today :o I really should be getting ready for some art show coming up, but I don't really care. I should also be applying for some universities, but I;m still waiting for papers.

Still waiting for news about the next gaming night. Last time it was right after exams, so it might be a while. I MIGHT switch the deviantart.com journal to this one, it has a better layout and is easier to use.

ANYway, thats all for now. Still waiting for books in the mail and trying to find a new good game for the Wii. (I don't know if that will happen)
