I have 1 that's crappily EV trained... but yeah I agree with the pointlessness. It takes too long no matter what and involves way too much math for a game.
well what I do is....Max out whatever stats I feeel nesessary. If you do that, then it's the same every time, +64 to there final stat!
Or you could just hit up some FAQs on Gamefaqs and check what the "Experts" recomend, that's what I usually do. Then alls you have to do is keep track of what EV's you're getting!

I think it's kind of pointless also. I only have 1 EV Trained Pokemon.

No one ever said you needed to EV Train constantly to write a guide about it. :>_>:
