They did make it easier. Next time, instead of macho brace give it power anklet.
The power items you can win at the battle tower also give EV's. Each one gives +4 to the gain of the EV it corresponds to after every battle the pokemon participates in. Since pokerus multiplies EV gain AFTER the items you are holding gives EVs then you would gain 10 EV's for each starly you kill this way, 12 for killing a staravia, and 14 for killing anything that gives +3 speed EV's.
The power items are:
power brace (atk)
Power lens (s.atk)
Power anklet (spd)
Power weight (HP)
Power band (s.def)
Power belt (def)
Any guide that doesn't mention these items is incomplete.
Also, you should probably edit the bit about the berries that lower EV's into the guide. I tend to use them a lot if I think I've screwed up and decide to change. |
I'm pretty sure at the time of that post, WeedTea didn't know about these power items. (nor did anyone else in this forum =P)

custom robo is a great game. i highly recommend it.

Well I have been looking for another DS game...I'll look into it.
NCAA is a long 12 days away, another 2 days to get from Canada to New Zealand.

I never onced EV trained. Don't care about battling enough to do it...

Basically it's this way of raising your Pokemon's Stats. Like if someone were to use the vitamins and such you could still give you Pokemon better stats through EV training...especially coupled with IV training and the right Nature.
The thing is is that it's incredibly time consuming...and I can't imagine all that effort for Pokemon...
But now I'm curious.
