I'm going you how to EV Train so you can be awsome like me. :O
Alright lets start...
EV Training:
*Every pokemon is given an Effort Value, a number.
*Once you beat a pokemon you get that Effort Value or EV.
*I'm sure you guys all know that when you level up you get points towards a stat. Well every 4 EV adds up to 1 of those stat points.
*These EV don't go towards all your stats, depending on the pokemon you beat it goes towards specific stats.
*So when you level up every 4 EV that you've accumlated goes towards a stat.
*But you can only get 510 EV
*But (again) you can only give 255 EV towards a single stat or +63 to any stat
*So that means you can max out 2 stats fully
*After you max out 2 stats you'll have 1 stat left to give towards any other stat
Making EV training go by faster
*The most EV I've ever seen pokemon give is 3 so at that rate it'll take a while to max out the stats
*If you have pokerus the number of EV you get is doubled
*So say you beat a tentacruel which gives 2 EV towards special defense, and you have pokerus you get 4 EV
*But Macho Brace also gives double the EV
*So if your pokemon has Pokerus and is holding Macho Brace you get 4 times the EV. Wow 8 EV for beating a single Tenatcruel. :O
*And there are Vitamins which give 10 EV, but you can only use them if you have less then 100 EV gained
*Power items give plus 4 EVs to what ever stat they're for
*If you beat a pokemon that gives 1 EV while holding a power item for that stat and having pokerus, it'll give you 10 EVs.
Where to EV Train quickly.
For speed: Equip Power Anklet , infect Pokerus, and turn off your battle animations(so that you won't waste time watch them over and over). Then go to the left of Eterna City and us the Vs. Seeker to battle the fisherman that has 6 Magikarps in his party. This'll get you 60 EVs each battle! :O
For defense: Equip Power Belt, infect Pokerus, and turn off battle animations. Go to the Oreburgh Mines and battle both Geodudes and Onixs. They're not that strong and you get 10 EVs each. :O
For HP: Equip Power Weight. Infect Pokerus. Turn Off battle animations. Go to route 201 battle Bidoofs for 10 EVs each. If you have trouble with Bidoofs you really do need to EV Train. o.o
For Attack: Equip Power Bracer. Infect. Pokerus. Turn off battle animations. Go west of Pastoria City and battle Kricketunes and Bibarels. 12 EV's each, baby. 8)
For Sp. Attack: Power Lens. Pokerus. Battle Animations off. You know the jazz. Go to the Old Chateau an battle Gastlys for 10 EVs each. Lucky for you it's 100% Gastly in the Old Chateau. :o
For Sp. Defense: Power Band. Pokerus. Battle Animations off. Go to Surf by Valley Windworks and battle Tentacools for 10 EVs each. They should be pretty common over there so I doubt it'll be that hard to find them.
Questions and Answers
Q: "Hey, WTF? 255 plus 255 equals 510! how can one stat be left?!"
A: It's rounded up and what not, there are equations but I best not confuse you with them <_<
Q:"Why do they have to put a limit towards how many EV I can put towards a stat?"
A:Because then people would keep adding stats and you wouldn't want to see a Infernape or some other pokemon on wifi with 999 stats would you? :|
Q:"Where can I find out which pokemon give how much EV?"
A: Serebii, even though it is extrememly slow, maybe bulbapedia works but I'm just guessing
Q:"Where can I get Macho Brace?"
A: Show 3 types of Burmy to the boy in Pastoria
Q:"If a Pokemon is holding Exp Share, does it recieve EV points?"
A: Yes and No, say you battle a Tentacruel with your Pikachu that is holding Macho Brace and is infected with Pokerus, and your Starly is holding Exp. Share and doesn't have Pokerus, when you beat the Tentacruel both pokemon get the original 2 EV towards Special Defense, BUT the Pikachu is holding Macho Brace so it gets 2x the EV and it's got Pokerus so it gets twice as more again, making it get 4 x the original EV of 2, so in other words it gets 8, but Starly only gets the original 2
Q:What power items do what?
A:
power brace (atk)
Power lens (s.atk)
Power anklet (spd)
Power weight (HP)
Power band (s.def)
Power belt (def)
If you have any questions PM them me so I can add them to the Q & A part of this guide. Chances are other people have the same question you do ___ "I thought you might be worried, about the security...of your shit."

I'm not saying you have to fall off the wagon. Or get on a wagon. You don't have to interact with a wagon in any way that makes you uncomfortable |

you need to add that you should really only train 252 in any stat because that leaves 3 unused ones, so it should be
252 in one stat
252 in another
4 in a final one ___

How dare you forget about the berries! :o
Some berries (the ones with description that they raise friendship, but lower stats) can be used to ev train if you make a mistake with training, for they take away 10 ev's (as long as there are ev's to be taken away) ___ My DA story hub thingy
