Ok well there's been lots of buzz around Halo 3 recently. In this post I'll be explaining why and what is going on.

First I'll start off with the Superintendent (SI). He's a being on the site and forums which has everyone confused. He started posting pre-E3, but it was weird random things like "KEEP IT CLEAN!" "BE A HERO, REPORT VIOLATORS!" "TAKE IT TO MAKE IT!" and other random things. He posts on the forums in green which nobody else does, none of the members (they can't change font color), ninjas, staff, nobody. When E3 came around and you went to Bungie's website you saw on a splash page the SI, his sayings, and a countdown. Well things got messed up and the countdown stopped and nothing happened, everything went back to how it was. What happened is Bungie had a big announcement they were going to make at E3 and the countdown was for that. Microsoft then pulled Bungie out saying they wanted to make the announcement at a more dedicated event. Well the SI is back and there have been two top stories from him on Bungie, one KEEP IT CLEAN and I actually just went to Bungie and saw a new one PARDON OUR DUST. They both seem to be some kind of recorded radio transmission or something. Read them form the links if you like, they don't make much sense though. Oh and in the first one there is a line that says "\ SOURCE: URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE A.I. [SUPERINTENDENT] " meaning SI is an AI. And now that SI is back we can only assume whatever was going to happen at E3 is happening very soon.



An update that is happening soon (2 am PST) is Title Update 2. You can read all about it here and here. Basically it's just updating thing game. Fixing bugs, behind the scenes stuff, and updating playlists. Some plalist happening are retiring Ranked big Team and add Squad (6v6), adding in maps like Epilogue and Boundless which are special Bungie forged maps of Epitaph and Snowbound without shield doors, and adding playlist rankings in too. Read the links above because this is gonna be a really long post as it is and I don't want to describe everything. Oh and new achievements too.

Now if you go to Xbox and look at all the achievements for Halo you'll see the ones. On them you'll notice they are things like get 2 double kills on a legendary map. There is also stuff like get a bulltrue on a Mythic map. We've seen one Mythic map before, Assembly. We have heard nothing about others, until now. If you look you'll see the names of all the Mythic maps. Assembly, Citadel, Longshore, Heretic, Orbital, and Sandbox. So now we know there's 6 new maps coming out, but don't know when.



Here come rumors gallore. Well Sandbox has rumors around it that it is a giant map editor. It's the ultimate forge map. Foundry was before but had it's limitations. This map is rumored to have absolutely nothing on it and there will be tons and tons to add to it. It was rumored to be shown in this video at the very end. There are also rumors there is a campaign extension coming, new levels to play campaign on. Take a look at this. SligStorm has some pics of a campaign level called The Midship. You know it's campaign because it says Co-op.

Now we don't know if SI is something in Halo 3 or another game in the works, but rumors say we'll find out on either 9/25 or the Tokyo Game Show on 10/7. There are also rumors that Xbox is having a huge relaunch party on 9/25 for the new fall dashboard update. It was rumored they'll be announcing things like Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2, a new Conker game, and 2 new Halo tites. It was also said there will be 6 free Original Xbox games on the market, one of them being Halo. This rumor also came about before we knew any of this Halo stuff. So 9/25 seemed like a huge Halo day anyways. But now there are even more rumors surrounding just Bungie for that day, combined with the other rumor and this could be an awesome day. Oh and 9/25 is also the 1 year anniversary of Halo 3, another reason people believe something huge will happen that day.

Haven't done anything here in awhile, kinda surprising cause I was posting a decent amount and just suddenly stopped. Then again I never was a big blogger. So ya don't know what to post about so here's a picture I took in an MLG Oddball game.

Ya so I missed the second week of my games of interest, oops. There really wasn't anything anyways. Spore and NHL 09, two awesome games but then nothing else interesting came out. So ya there you go, those are the games of interest for this week. So now I'll doing games of interest for next week, 9/14.

Rock Band and Star Wars:TFU are the two big games of the week. I know I won't be buying Rock Band 2, but that's just cause I don't want to spend the money on everything, and I'm sure someone I know will. I might buy TFU, but my friend actually read in some magazine called EGM that it wasn't that good, they gave it a C- or something like that. He said that the magazine said the gameplay wasn't that good. Kinda disappointing to hear, but the game hasn't been released yet so we'll see. But it's only a 1 player game, those kinda turn me off unless they're really good games. I'm still waiting for them to release another Star Wars: Battlefront on the X360 or some other online Star Wars game.

I just watched Apples keynote from this morning where they talked about all there new stuff and I want that iTouch. I really don't see too much difference with the older one, but whatever. I want it. I don't even really want it for music. Sure I would listen to music on it, but I mainly want it for tv shows and movies, and the internet. I'd love it for when I'm just sitting in class to be able to just sit it on my lap and watch some Family Guy: Blue Harvest. And then for when I'm sitting on break during work to watch something or chat on AIM. I think it'd just be so cool to have. I think I might even use it for some games. Oh the apps! Be able to check out my Facebook (although nothing interesting happens on it usually) or to check the scores in the baseball games. It really just sounds like an awesome thing that I would love to have.

Although I hate how unless I want to pay $400 for it, they're the same sizes as the Nano's. But with the iTouch I'd have some music, some movies, tv shows, and games. I'm kinda worried that 8gb wouldn't be enough and that I'd definitely need to get at least the $300 16gb version. Although the good thing is that my birthday is coming up. I'll definitely ask for it and I'll even offer that if someone were to buy me the 8gb that I'd pay the extra $70 to upgrade to a 16gb. I also want whatever game is shown in the image below.

I don't get it, why doesn't anyone ever want to play Team Objective with me on Halo 3? Sure Slayer is fun, but there's so much more to objective game, I love them. Multi, one sided, doesn't matter. Flag, bomb, territories, oddball, king of the hill, all good. I know territories and oddball aren't a favorite of most people, but I like to play them. Especially territories, well actually it depends. I'm not a fan of the one sided territories, or the ones where they lock after capturing. I like the one where there's 5 territories and when you have one you're time goes up and first to however many seconds wins. Unfortunately I've got nobody to play with. I play by myself sometimes and get matched with randoms, but I wanna party up with people I know.



I tried to play with some people today but right as we started the game they were both like "Wtf are we doing objective for? Let's do some SWAT or something". So we played one game of oddball on Blackout, lost by 3 points, and went into Swat. I don't mind Swat though, the games are pretty quick and it's fun. I was also pleased because in the 4 games we played, we played 3 different settings. We played Swat on Guardian twice in a row, won one lost one. Then we played ShWATguns and it was the first time I had ever played it. I always expected it to be retarded but it actually wasn't bad at all. I sucked and we lost but it was way better than I expected. And finally we played 2Flag Swat on The Pit which was awesome. I thought that would suck too just cause objective Swat sounds hard but it wasn't bad at all, I really liked it actually. And of course we won because I love objective and owned.

Now I've got a little gripe with Objective too though. They need to change the possibilities of what comes up because there's no chance of territories and I'd like a small chance of it at least. I know they use to have a Territories playlist but come on, as much as I think territories can be fun it's tough to play over and over. MLG is a good playlist too. It's competitive rules and you could end up with either slayer, flag, KoTH, or oddball. Although I've got some problems with MLG settings, I won't go into that. Maybe I'll start my own competitive league and make everything perfect to how I want. Equipment, weapon spawns, gametypes... yaaa it'll be good. OK back on topic. Uhhhh I don't really have much else to say. PLAY TEAM OBJECTIVE WITH ME!!

I wanted to play some Halo tonight, I was really feeling some capture the flag but my friend wanted to play Castle Crashers. I played some insane mode with him, got my Orange Knight to around level 45ish. We also started playing with his friend PJ but not even after 2 minutes of playing he randomly just left to play Halo.

Now I'm just watching the credits roll as I just beat it with my Theif. He's full speed, lots of D and some attack. I just want to say that speed kills my friends, it's awesome! I love just mashing B and jungle guys with arrows. Although some guys are too heavy to juggle and just fall over so they take forever to kill (Stove Face ) Oh and just to prove how sick speed is, I beat the whole game on my own with a level 27 with ease. On my own with my other characters I think I needed to be over level 30 to beat the game, maybe even just Full Moon alone. God I hate that level and those stupid Stove Faces and the large Stove Faces too. As much hate that I showed toward Stove Face I love using him because he's cool looking, especially with that sword the Necro drops.

Alright well credits are over, that weird clown ending is over, and I unlocked a new guy, w00t!! I wasn't sure if I would for a few reasons. One was I just wasn't sure I beat all the levels because a did a few levels multiplayer with him and wasn't sure if that allowed me to maybe skip a level or two. Also I just wasn't sure if he unlocked anyone cause he's a secret character himself. But I'm wicked excited with this new guy I got.

He's one of those green guys you fight in The Marsh, I think his name's Snakey.

- I also just got his weapon that level too, btu I guess it doesn't matter because I unlocked him and he came with the weapon anyways. That weapon is pretty sick too by the way. It's +5 Magic, -2 Defense, +3 Speed. It also looks cool with it all green and glowy and stuff.

Now I don't know what I should do. I kinda want to level my Theif up some cause he's kinda low, but I've also seen people using Skeleton in the leaderboards and I really want him. I also want to use my Peasant because he's just funny lol . I'll probably just use my Peasant since I don't know how to get the Skeleton (don't wanna know, wanna find out myself) or head to bed.

Well my NFL Fantasy draft was the other day and i'd have to say I'm pretty happy with my team. It's a 14 team league, I had the 9th pick. Here's a look at my team:

I think for a 14 team league, my team is sick. First 3 round I got Lynch, Edwards, Big Ben. In that order. I'm not sure how I got Roethlisberger in the 3rd round, 37th pick overall. But whatever, it happened and it helped my team out big time. If I don't get him I probably either land with Derek Anderson or Hasselbeck. I would have been happy with either but I'm so much happier with Benny Boy. I was also really excited to get Chris Johnson 9th round, 121st overall. He's a rookie RB for the Titans who could take over the starting spot there. You may not know who he is now, but hopefully everyone will in a few weeks.
