TayZonaday sent me a friend request on youtube recently and I accepted it....So yeah.

I'm also working on my stories and stuff....

And also, I found this... about the old Superman radio show...

Quote:
Superman radio show is iconic. A lot of what we take for granted about Superman (like Kryptonite) was introduced through the radio show. But the show also helped battle racism. Stetson Kennedy, a leftist writer in the ‘40s, infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan and learnt the inner workings of Grand Dragon “Doc” Green’s vicious Klavern #1 of Atlanta. After finding out that the KKK had strong ties with the government he gave the writers of the Superman radio show information like code words, rituals, etc to produce a series where Superman battles the Klan.

The result was a series called “Clan of The Fiery Cross” in which Superman helped show the underbelly of an organization that was otherwise accepted – at the time - as a part of Americana.

During the first broadcast, “Doc” Green received a phone call from the Atlanta AP bureau chief:
“Superman’s really on your trail … sounds to me like Superman’s got a pipeline into your klaverns somehow. You’d better watch your step.”

“I smell a rat,” the Dragon said bitterly. “Just wait till I get my hands on him!”

“You’d better make it snappy–Superman just flew over your Imperial Palace to case the joint.”

“Nuts,” the Doctor said, and hung up.

Source.

The show received phenomenal ratings and even after a Klan boycott of Kellogg in Atlanta kept being green lighted. It is one of the most remembered series of the radio show and can be found through either repeats of the show on AM radio or by downloading it on the internet (search for it).

So yeah.
