So I can trying to keep my fanaticism under control and keep it in one topic. >_>

According to an IGN article there is going to be DLC (Downloaded Content) for AC:CF (furniture and such) and this will be a free service.

Release Date
An article by Nintendo stated November 16th, 2008 but they insist on referring to the release date as the holiday season.

Basics
- You have the ability to use the new device, WiiSpeak. This is sold seperately but it hasnt been mentioned that it won't come with the game in some sort of bundle.
- You can send letters to the Wii Message Board, Emails, and Cell Phones.
- Game uses WiiConnect24
- You can use a USB Keyboard.
- DS - Wii Connectivity. At the start of your game you use a "DS Suitcase" to transfer your personal catalog from Wild World to City Folk.
- You can take pictures and send them to other people.
- You can use the wiimote or the wiimote/nunchuk to play.
- Pointing the Wiimote towards the bottom of the screen opens a tabbed menu, so you dont have to hit 'start.'
- The clock/date is in the top left of the screen instead of the bottom right and has a new look.
- The Animal Crossing keyboard has a new design.
- There are NO motion sensing controls.
- Pattern Creating is more indepth now allowing you to create the back, front and sleeves of the shirt.
- It was said that there will be free and constant Downloadable Content such as new furniture, wallpaper, etc.
- You can take screenshots and save them to an SD card.

Character
- You can get a Mii's face/hair at Harriet's Salon. This is a mask and is stored in the Mii Slot of your design page.
- The back, front, and sleeves of shirts are now different.
- All tools have been confirmed returning.
- Each character recieves their own house.
- 4 Player Character files per town.
- 4 Player Charcter can be in a town during a wi-fi session.
- Character Inventory still holds only 15 items.
- Character can carry 9,999,999 bells. It is unknown as to if this is all in the wallet or if this includes bagged bells in inventory. (If you can answer with proof, send a link and message my way and I will edit.)
- The character can switch tools using the D-Pad, so no more opening the menu.
- There is now a personalized camera for you to use while playing. Not much has been mentioned about this.

Town
- Hills/Cliffs are returning to the town's terrain..
- There is a bus station that takes you to the city.
- You arrive in town for the first time by the bus.
- Town Gate is behind the bus station and its functions are the same as in WW.
- Tom Nook's has the same ol' shop and it can still be upgraded.
- Able Sister's still holds 8 designs.
- The Museum is back. Confirmed sections are Fossils, Insects, and Fish.
- Gyroids are still dug out of the ground.
- The Recycle Bin is back.
- All old fruit is returning. There has been no word on new fruit.
- The player can choose between 4 randomly placed houses at the start of their game.
- Snowman can be built in the winter.
- Constellations are back. (One can assume the observatory is back also.)
- Tom Nook Bonus Point System is returning. It is unknown as to whether the discounts are the same.
- There is a town flag.
- Nook and Ables are seperate once more.
- Maps are still randomly generated at the start of the game.
- The town features the rolling log effect once again.
- There is room for 10 and maybe more neighbors in town
- There will be a carnival. It is unknown as to when or how long this will occur for.
- Floating presents are confirmed to go through town.
[i]- Pascal is returning.

City
- There is an auction house ran by Lloid the Gyroid. You can place bids on friend's items. You can also put up items for your friends to bid on.
- The bus drops you off and picks you up at the front of the city.
- Gracie has a store in the city named "GracieGrace" that sells seasonal clothing and furniture. The store is run by Labelle (presumably a relative to the Able Sisters.)
- Harriet's Beauty Salon is in the city. You can change you hairstyle or get a full makeover which gives you the head of a mii. (Said to be a mask and already covered up above)
- Lyle, the annoying blue guy that stalked you in Wild World, runs the HRA building where you can see the top scoring player's and their scores and also your friend's scores.
- There is a shoe shine guy in the city. You pay him bells and he will change the color of your shoes to match your clothing.
- There is a theatre in the city ran by Dr. Shrunk. You pay an 800 bell entrance fee. You then watch a quick play/film which teaches you a new emotion.
- There is an ATM machine in the city.
- Villagers actually go in the stores of the city. You can also speak to them in there.
- Resetti can be spotted at night behind two traffic cones at the end of the sidewalk/road in the city some days. He is actually nice and not screaming then.

Other
- Real Life Holidays are back, although the religiousness may be absent from some of them such as Bunny Day. (Understandable, though.)
- Katrina is making her return (Unkown as to where she will be located)
- KK is making his return. (Unknown as to where he will be located, but the stage is still in the Roost so I would say he'd be there.)
- The Roost and Brewster are back. It is unknown as to where the Cafe is located though.

I just hope they make this one more like the GC version rather than the DS version.

Hopefully Nintendo can implement this in a way so it doesn't screw over the gameplay. Aka me be able to pay off my debt the first day.

New trailer.
http://e3.nintendo.com/wii/animalcrossing/index.html

And...

There will also be a host of DS connectivity functionality. Owners of Animal Crossing: Wild World will have the option of "moving" their town from their DS to the Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii, where all items gathered on the DS version will transfer over to the Wii version. Additionally, the DS can be used to transfer characters between Wiis as a means of visiting other player's towns.[6]

Talks about the collectibles, which work hand-in-hand with WiiConnect24. You have furniture and wallpapers in the beginning of the game, but through WiiConnect24 you will automatically receive new items in the game.

In City Folk, you can design different patterns and clothing. Now, you can create the front and back of your shirt, as well as each different sleeve, as unique pieces. You can also create hats and other accessories.

His character steps outside and he takes a photo of the new shirt he just made. These photos can be saved to SD card or sent to friends over the Wii Message Board. You can also send the pics to cell phones and computers.

Inflation going to be quite the problem on AC: CF if Nintendo aren't wary.
