Weapons And Vehicles: New Weapons have been announced and previous ones returning. The Lancer has been improved with a scope allowing for better accuracy and distance, the Hammerburst is now "shot like the Halo 3 Carbine" with greater range and accuracy. The Medusa is a new Locust pistol that shoots 5 or 6 rounds at a time, being plugged as "the perfect meatshield weapon". The Longshot Sniper returns, and a new weapon the Scorcher Flamethrower has been confirmed. The Scorcher is described as the "most realistic fire seen in a game". The Grenade used in Gears 1 can now be used as a mine, as you are now able to stick it to any wall or any floor. The Smoke Grenade returns also but carries a "stun" effect if the opponent gets too close.
