Here are my predictions for the playoffs

AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: Tigers
AL West: Angels
AL Wild Card: Yankees

NL East: Philles
NL Central: Cubs
NL West: Diamondbacks
NL Wild Card: Cardinals

There are some teams I'd like to see make the playoffs rather than some of the teams I chose and I think they could compete, I just don't think they have enough to do it (Rays and Dodgers).

I don't think the Dodgers have a shot at the division but maybe the wildcard. First off they need to get Furcal back who continues to get setbacks on the DL because he's definitely a huge offensive boost. But they just don't have enough power in the lineup to compete, 40 year old Jeff Kent leads the team with only 8 homers. They would definitely need to make a trade for a big hitter (Holliday possibly?) to get the wildcard.

And I would absolutely love to see the Rays make the playoffs (even though over the years them and Boston have had numerous on field fights) because they're young talent is just so exciting. Crawford, Upton, Longoria, Pena, Kazmir, Shields... the list just goes on! But there are a few reasons I think they won't make the playoffs this year. One is because they're too young and I don't think they'll be able to put a run together at the end of the year. The other reason is because the Yankees are the exact opposite, they're an experienced team that knows how to finish off a season. And if there starters step up until Wang is back in September the Yankees will easily win the wildcard.

i believe skeets AL east, AL central AL wild card NL west and NL wild card are all going to be wrong.
