For all you NFL fans, post what you think the playoffs will be like and discuss any other NFL Playoff stuff. Here are my initial predictions:

AFC Wild Card
Kansas City @ Indianapolis
Ok let's make this simple. The Chiefs got Larry Johnson while The Colts have the worst run defense in the league and ever for a playoff team. If The Colts couldn't make it to the Super Bowl in previous years then they are going to struggle majorly this year. Larry Johnson is going to run all over Indy and keep Manning off the field, but when Manning and his offense get on the field they will score against KC and there under average defense
Final Score: Kansas City 30-24

NY Jets @ New England
The Jets are an over achieving team with like another team in the playoffs, a bad run defense. This means the Laurence Maroney and Corey Dillon combo are going to have an absolute field day. Maroney will break out for some big gainers and Dillon will hammer it in for the touchdown. The Pats have one of the best run defenses in the game and the Jets have a mediocre run game so that won't be too successful for them. The Pats weakness in my eyes is when teams pass on them and with the Chad Pennington on the other team you know that's what they will do. But then again this is the playoffs and this is Bill Belichick and the Patriots we are talking about so they are going to have alot of defenses that will confuse Pennington into make bad decisions and throwing some interceptions, which he had 16 of in the regular season.
Final Score: New England 24-13

I'll post my NFC Wild Card predictions tomorrow, it's too late now and I'm tired.

NFC Wildcard

Dallas @ Seattle

Easily the toughest one to pick this round of the playoffs, they're both teams that limped into the playoffs (Apart from Philly, which NFC team didn't?) and will get knocked out next round. Even with the injuries, Seattle have substantially more playoff experience and will pull away in the 3rd quarter. Romo will tear up the Seahawks secondary thanks to Holmgren's actions last week. (Its hard to bash him, he's a true hero)

Final Score: Seattle 31-21

NY Giants @ Philadelphia

The Giants have been terrible for the last half of the season and Philly will are in a class of their own in the NFC at the moment. The game will look close on the scoreboard but the Giants will never look like winning (In a similar fashion to Super Bowl XXXIX) and that stupid **** by the name of Tiki Barber will deservedly not get a Super Bowl win. :)

Final Score: Philadelphia 24-20

(This game makes me Cry

cause the Packers should be in it)

AFC Wild Card

Kansas City @ Indianapolis

This is a tough one but I'm going to go with Kansas City, even with the fact they haven’t won a Super Bowl since they had Montana and Indy have much more experience (Plus they always get jobbed in the playoffs *cough* New England cheating in '03 *cough*) as Skeet mentioned Indy's run defense is horrendous and Larry Johnson and Priest Holmes will run over them. Manning will have another excellent day but Indy's offence will become 1 dimensional and slip away after KC figures them out.

Final Score: Kansas City 44-35

NY Jets @ New England

Now way am I going against Brady and Belichick in the playoffs. New York won't show up and the Pats defense will run the show and the offence will capitalize on great field position nearly every drive, this one will be over by half time.

Final score: New England 33-0

(This game make Ragedy sad, both these teams beat the Packers by a total of 73-10 in consecutive weeks Cry

Discussion

The Bears will get not reach the super bowl, I'll be cheering for Baltimore this year, I like realy Mcnair and wanna see him get a Super Bowl. I'll continue tommorow but I knackered.

Oh and while we're on the subject of Football *cough*

I liked your predictions Rag, and yes you one that Fantasy football league, but atleast I came in 3rd. Ok well I gotta get going back to school so I'll post my complete NFC predictions tonight.

I really stopped keeping up with the NFl after the dismal performance of the Falcons this year.

But at least Ohio State is going to kick some ass this Monday. :D
