Yeah, basicly a stingrays barb went through his heart (it wasn't the actual sting that killed him, it's the same as being stabbed really). It was a freak accident, and I find it ironic that he was kiled by a stingray because stingrays are one of my favorite animals :eh:
I'ts sad really, we all knew some dangerous animal would end him some day...but when it happens it's really sad :( and the fact he's left a wife and two kids. His two year old daughter was with him at the time.

Ya I just read about the stingray and it said they usualy just try to swim away, and read what can happen if you get stung and it said that it was highly highly unlikely to die... I'm still sad about this.

He must have really pissed it off somehow. Or that particular stingray was just a psycho :hmm:
