Sorry for the XBox 360 news, but I have a 360 and there is a big Microsoft event going on called X06. And the two things I have posted are an old Nintendo character gone to XBox (Banjo) and now Sonic, who still has games for Nintendo (although not this one) Ok so on with my news...
Microsoft has recently released many new screenshots for the game, and a few of them intruiged me. Well if you have followed the game you know you play as Sonic, Shadow, and a new character from the future named Silver, but in some of the pictures there was some game art featuring what looked like 2 new characters. One looked more futuristic, and the other looked more modern. Below is a picture of Silver if you haven't already seen him, along with the other 2 new characters.

It looks pretty heavy. They should take out the vehicles, mainly Shadow. His game was like my cup of tea. It sucked!

I so hope those are prototype designs for Silver. If not, they have throughly ****ed up Sonic Next-Gen for me.

I played a demo for it that i downloaded over XBL, it was fairly good. The gameplay is the exact same as the gamecube, but the graphics are way better.

Silver looked a lot like Shadow. Also, the futuristic character looks kinda like mecha sonic(it might be me) and the modern looks like sonic. They should come up with more creative character designs. But, that's just me.
