To tell you the truth, I don't believe in a "Friend-Code List." What's the point when you probably won't play most of the people on thelist? It's really only for reference, but you could also use your DS for reference. I believe the this should like this:

If you want to play online, you make a thread about it, and if someone takes on the invite/challenge, you play them, and you'll have thrit friend code as well. If you ever want to play again, you're set. This way, you would only have the people you actually play with.

Yea dude I agree with that. Also How would you know if the person you put on the list also put you on theres? So this will work out better.

I think a friend code list is good, becuase you can go wifi and have a massive list of folks to look for. But with out some kind of thread to see if anyone wants to play, it can and may become pointless. Mybe we should have a friend code thread and a "call out thread" The call outh thread would have to be dedicated only to saying you want to play online, is anyone intrested. We would have to try and keep it from going OT, cause it would just get messy.

i agree, call out is sucessful on gamespot. just keep the lists we have.

One aspect you guys are forgetting is the fact that both player have to add each other to even play online togsther. What's the point of having a massive list both on the site and on your friend list when you don't even know if the other person has you on their list as well.

The only way you can make sure is if you actually contact that person, and you could do exactly that through creating a thread and both of you adding each other.

Call out will throw away the point of this board because we could just make a thread on the "Nintendo DS" board and sticky it, but that will runin things because it will get crowdy with people who are trying to set up different games.

The list is pointless ad for what I have said above, you will not know if that person has added you as well.

oh, i get what you are saying. the board itself could be for help and tournaments, and you could just pm other people if you want to race or whatever with them. the only reason that it wouldldt be so good is because the important threads would be lost in the challenges.
