Dr. Keelan called me at 9am today and asked me to come into the office for another ultrasound. He said my blood hormone levels doubled nicely but he just wanted to make sure that the pregnancy wasn't in the tube. So by 9:30am I had showered and taken the short drive and was waiting to be called into his office. Funny, I still wasn't sure if I should be picking up the pregancy magazines yet. I didn't want to jump the gun.
When it was time for the ultrasound he said what he wanted to see was - a yolk sac within the gestational sac. And if we saw a baby...well, that would be great. He saw both sacs and yes, he saw a baby. A very very very tiny, 2 millimeter baby. YAY! I'm going back on Thursday (2 days from now) to have ANOTHER ultrasound done to see if we see the heartbeat yet because the baby was SO small that he wasn't sure if he saw one or not.
I'll pick up my prenatal vitamins at the pharmacy tomorrow (they had to be ordered) and we called our folks and friends to confirm with everyone that everything looks good! I felt kind of queesy earlier, but it could be that I'm just excited.
Today is brother-in-law Neil's birthday so we are going to go to his parents house tonight. I bought the book "What to Expect While Your Expecting"
I could have bought it used online, but I just bought it from the mall today like any other non-computer person because I wanted it NOW. Not very frugal of me. I also bought 2 new bras because I'm poppin out of the ones I've got and they are starting to HURT me.
I've got to get going on the window treatments website I should be working on. I ran into Larry at the mall and he said he sent me a deposit today so I would like to have some pages finished for him to look at soon. I really have to focus and make sure that this is going to be a productive week
