I'm with /B/igNig on this one. Though I do believe in God, Jesus, the Bible, etc, there are some things about it that I just dont really apply to the current times. I honestly dont have a problem with pre-marital sex. However you just have to be smart when doing it. Although I do feel that it is more special when it is done with someone you truly love and will possibly marry or are already married to. Pre-marital sex in fine in my eyes, just as long as you dont go whoring yourself out to homeless people *cough* ___
If we were meant to live by the Bible, humans would have no thoughts, emotions, or instincts. We'd be on a set path, doing only what was permitted.
And the idea of a God who asks you to live by a book and then proceeds to send you to an eternity in Hell for one indiscretion makes God sound like a huge dick. And I'd rather not worship a huge penis. ___

Anywho, speaking from the mind of a 16-year-old girl who has been overprotected by her "loving" parent's all her life, go ahead. Pre-marital sex is A-okay in my eyes. Also, I look to the examples my relatives have set. Both of my older cousins (who are twenty-something) had premarital sex and neither of them could be happier. I mean, my cousin Matt had two kids with his girlfriend before he married her and they now have a third. Dallin, Braxton, and Phoenix are their names (oldest to youngest). My other cousin Shaun (who is Matt's brother btw) has had premarital sex and has a gorgeous little girl by his girlfriend (Lacey) and her name is Allyah. Again, neither of them could be happier.
As for an age limit, I think that 15 is pushing it. I don't think you should have to be older than 18 or w.e the age of consent is these days (I think it's 16 now in Ontario, but I'm not sure). To me, 16 is okay, but 15 is pushing the limit because I don't think you're old enough to really be able to deal with the emotional consequences of having sex. But for God's sake, be safe about it. There are far too many teenage parent's nowadays. ___
Man, Canada is fucking weird. Before this year, the age of consent was 14...
That's horrible.
Was it really? Can anyone say WTF MAN?? I thought it was 18...which would've made more sense than friggen 14.
Yeah, 14 is a bit (extremely) young. 16 is iffy, 17 at least is more like it. As long as you're around 17 and know what/who (stranger danger!) you're doing, go ahead. ___
Let me, bign, explain to you the funny term called unregenerate heart. it means that you are not saved and thus do not have a heart aligned with Gods. Once you become a Christian and start to grow you gain some wisdom. Some knowledge. I do not see any of that wisdom within you. I am going to call you a sinner, but let that not be the last word as you say it. I am a sinner too. It is only by the loving grace of my Lord that i have forgiveness of that sin. It is because i have a very, very, very small understanding of what God did to give me that salvation, and how utterly undeserving I am for it. If i were to have the mindset of, oh well I can do what I want, then I will do it and just ask for forgiveness. I am defiling what God has given me. Well then, should we sin so that we could get more grace from God? "1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?" -Romans 6:1-2.
And as far as the wrongs in scripture, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness," (2 Timothy 3:14-16)
Sir, I could never say if you are saved or not if you say the name of Christ as your savior. I do not know the condition of your heart. I can, however, say that it is a possibility you aren't saved. Even the devil says Jesus exists. Doesnt mean he is saved. All I can do for you is weep and pray that you are saved, and if you are that God corrects your heart. Let me tell you this, if you are truly calling yourself a Christian, do this: look in 1 John and compare yourself to it. 1 John talks about the doctrine of assurance.
I am truly sorry if i come off as arrogant. i am just as bad as you guys, i do mess up. Arrogance is something i shouldnt have. I hope I've convinced you i think i am just as much of a wretch that you are, if not worse. Trust me, dont think i have no reason to throw out your arguments. I have read it all and seen them all. The thing is, I cannot accept them. To be quite frank, it is insanely wordly and unbiblical. That is all i am going to say. Just as you said, i expect you to throw away all I say. That doesnt make it any different for me. my motive to take my time to write all this up is when I meed my Maker, He will ask me about all the times I had a conversation like this and how I handled it. If I properly told what is true to the scriptures, or if i cowered away because my words would fall on deaf ears. Lets be quite frank, you arent going to change from this huge wall of text. That is part of the grace of God. He never commands us to have 100 converts a year out in the missions field. He simply calls us to obey, and i thank Him for that. ___
