The xbox 360 has some exclusive titles that interest certain people, but other than that and the community the ms product has no advantage. The ps3 has better ( i dont care how much better ) graphics, the ps3's graphics are comparable to pc graphics, i think the ps3 will outsell the 360 by far, based on the fact that sony comes out of japan and ms has no overseas support.

oh im sure in sales they'll do great(because of japan) but then again, the wii will steal sales in japan and in america, the wii and the 360 will pwn...so im not sure how sony could do it...unless they're hiding some awesome kick-butt feature from us.

PS3 is way too costly to make as much as an impact as the PS2. I think it is very feasible that the 360 takes lead this generation.

Graphics? Soon graphics will not have an advantage because there will be no more improving on it. One day the gaming industry will depend on gameplay, and those days are soon to come.
I personally know few people who are going to buy a $600 video game system that seems limited.
"Casuals bought the PS2. Casuals have bwtter things to spend their money on than a $600 console. Only hardcore Sony playrs will buy the PS3."

ms will not win end of story, they have NO chance becuz of the wii's desirable looks and innovative features and gameplay, ms has ZERO overseas support, so for all u loyal ms fans i respect that u stick to ur company, but i doubt they will ever win in this market with overseas sales so low.

Price drops won't affect performance as much as lowering the PS3's price will. It's estimated the PS3 costs 900 dollars to make. Also, the games could cost anywhere between 60-100$ And you can't rent games. PS3 also has a lacklustre lineup. I can't see Sony being anywhere near as dominant this generation.

If by overseas you mean Japan then I agree. But Japan is on the decline as a gaming nation and Microsoft are having a huge impact on the Western world, gaining a lot of market share from there first console. They don't need Japan to win in sales.
