Well having users that aren't active really doesn't bother me. I mean if anything it might help us they may say HEY! THIS IS PRETTY POPULAR LOOK AT ALL THE MEMBERS! and they just join to join.
and then when they join, they see it's not so popular after all and dead during their peak internet times because we really don't have that many people, and then just leave.

But yeah, I don't think it is wise to purge the old, non-posting members. Take Kaiser, he comes back irregular, but he comes back. I think we should get rid of all the bot accounts from slovakia or whatever. I mean it looks worse that we have 5,000 members and only about 10 of them are active. It makes us look boring, which we all know is not the case. ___
