I've personally never done any drugs or anything like that, but I've heard from a health teacher that marijuana is not as harmful, as say, a cigarette. In fact, I was told that marijuana by itself can't kill you. Apparently, from what I gather, what kills you is the fact that you go about doing stupid shit and you eventually do other drugs which kill you.
Is this true?
Just curious. I was thinking of writing my creative paper on this topic and why we're allowed to have cigarettes which kill but not marijuana. By the way, is that a good topic?

My health teacher said that it's much, much worse than smoking a cigarette, although you (usually) don't smoke as many joints as you do cigs.

Yeah, its true. Marijuana doesnt make you do other drugs or anything like that though. Thats just the stupidity of people.

Well, actually in can in a way. You will want to seek bigger highs and to do that you turn to more hardcore drugs.

Yea that is a good site to learn about drugs, even has first hand experiences which are entertaining to read.

Your health teacher is a liar. Marijuana is not physically addictive, you can't OD on it, it doesn't cause cancer, it doesn't do as much damage to your lungs as cigarettes do....all it does it make you feel awesome. And that's why so many people do it.
The effects to Marijuana differ from person to person. All it really does is make you lazy and can destroy your short-term memory if you're a frequent user. As for the whole killing brain cells thing, it's nothing too bad. Cells regenerate over time, you're not going to become an idiot after smoking a bowl.
Don't get me wrong, you'll act like one though...
