DUBLIN, Ga. - He shot a man twice and felt so good about it, police said, a rapper wrote a song describing the shooting and calling out the victim by name. A judge sentenced 25-year-old Rico Todriquez Wright Monday to spend the next 20 years in prison after his victim mentioned the hip hop confession to police.

This is sad. It's funny when rappers say "its only entertainment," when clearly it's not! You can't glorify and then trivialize a lifestyle that people really live! People really shoot and kill people.

I understand that there's violence in movies and televisions shows, but these are actors; they're playing a role. When you're making music, you draw from past experiences and it's a reflection of yourself. You don't fabricate a lifestyle for entertainment, because Music is not the movies.

And if it's only entertainment and there's no truth to your music, then your album should be labeled Functional. Entire story
