So I was looking up some Resident Evil news and found this site which claims that Resident Evil 5 may come to Wii in a watered down version of the original a few months after the release of the PS3 and 360 versions. I'm hoping it's true, what do you guys think? Is Gamezonas a credible site?

Ports usually suck. Re4 kicked ass on the Gamecube because it wasn't a stupid port. I hated it on the PS2, and the Wii.

That's probably because the Wii used that dumbass remote. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to use the GC controllers on a RE5 Wii.

You had the option of plugging in a GC controller to use with RE4 Wii edition.
And RE4 was interesting. The Gamecube version had slightly better graphics. The PS2 version had way more content. The Wii version brought both together.

That's usually the reaction when people hear that after not realizing it. Personally, I like the Wiimote control scheme better than the GC controller one.
