celebgalz: Christian Mogensen, 61, and Sharon Glassman, 60, had their death notices announced on Christian’s website. The problem was the obituaries were posted before they were dead. Mogensen was a computer engineer and he updated his website with a wedding photo taken on the date Dec. 24, 1996. Mogensen also listed the dates of his death and his wife, Sharon Glassman’s death. Sharon Glassman and Chritian Mogensen died on Sept. 28 2008.

On Sept. 28, Christian Mogensen called the police emergency hotline at around 10:30 pm. Mogensen told the operator he had just killed his wife. Mogensen said when the police arrive, he would shoot himself. Police went with a SWAT team and evacuated certain portions of the building on Emerson Place, near Massachusetts General Hospital. Then, they entered Mogensen’s apartment on 20th floor. They saw an unconscious woman, later identified as Sharon Glassman. The man, lying unconscious, was identified as Christian Mogensen and he was also pronounced dead on the scene.

Christian Mogensen worked out of his home. Sharon Glassman worked for Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Glassman was a staff in the admin department in the burns center. The hospital spokesman, Peter Brown, said that Sharon Glassman was a well loved member of their community. The hospital offered their support, prayers and condolences to her family and friends. Glassman had also worked for the Massachusetts General Hospital, as a support staff administrative person. Mogensen did not explain his actions on his website. The Eastern Massachusetts probate courts were checked for documentation on Mogensen and Glassman but nothing was found. It was suspected that there might be a divorce if the couple had marital problems. There was no divorce filed on the Mogensens. Their deaths are a mystery right now. Police could only say Mogensen and Glassman died in an apparent suicide and murder.
