A few things...

1. I saw this a few days ago.
2. I love it.
3. I'm an old-school Sonic fan. I'm talking Sonic the Hedgehog forward.
4. 2D has always been the best style of Sonic game.
5. Sonic Adventure was the best 3D game.
6. Sonic Unleashed combines both 4 and 5 above to make a pretty awesome kickass game!

As long as it's better than the previous Sonic for 360/PS3, I'll happily buy it.

I am still definitely going to buy it but Sega said it's more of a spin off the story something like sonic and the secret rings which is the fact that I don't like, we still haven't gotten a sonic game that really goes with the story and is not something taken apart at least on the Nintendo Wii. Sure, the sonic from xbox 360 and ps3 was not good but that was because sonic team admitted they rushed the game badly.

And I am not saying that I don't like Sonic in 2-D because I love Sonic CD and Sonic Rush Adventure and some others but not sure that for a console these days it would work out, in hopes they don't mess up. I just don't get why change formula when Mario hasn't and has been always that good since and has had no need to have some 2-D going on in the 3-D console games like galaxy and such.

But I just wonder metroidmaniac what do you see from sonic adventure here in unleashed?
