WELLFORD, S.C. -- A stolen bear cub is back with his brother at a South Carolina animal park after being snatched and put on display at a truck stop.
Authorities say John Chadwick Montgomery took the 7-month-old cub on Saturday night.
Montgomery took the bear to a truck stop and charged people $1 each to pet the animal. The bear was returned to the park unharmed.

Addon thanks to Headline News: The cub was returned by the thief's cousin, who states that this really doesn't surprise her. He was apparently going to try to steal monkeys first, but they proved difficult, so he stole the cub instead. When he was less aware, she and her son loaded the cub into the car and drove back to the zoo. The theif is awaiting charges.
