1. Worldsings competition
If I could describe Worldsings I would say its a mix of Myspace, American Idol, and Eurovision. My parents are from Croatia so I have seen how excited people in Europe get about Eurovision. Worldsings is like Eurovision on a worldwide scale. I really like that the music is in all languages and all genres. It gives every musician in the world a chance to showcase themselves and compete. I've been a long time fan of Buddha Bar so I have been listening to music in other languages for many years.
2. Discover new music
I've always been a big fan of music. I recently discovered a new website Worldsings.com with bands from all over the world. All the bands are competing for the title of "The Best Song in the World." Some cool artists I discovered so far are The Undertone, Che Blaque, Shannon Hurley, Paola&Chiara, The Quest Pistols, and many others.
3. Make new friends
Since joining the site I have met new people from all over the world. Since I enjoy traveling I am already planning a trip to Europe in the near future. Also, the bands are very responsive when you write them messages because they want your vote haha. I guess they have to be nice.
4. Vote for your favorite songs
At Worldsings members vote for all their favorite songs. Every day there are new entries from all over the world. The top 20 voted songs will perform live in Las Vegas next year. First prize gets the title of "The Best Song in the World," $500,000 cash, and a record deal if they don't have one. Worldsings lets the fans choose which 20 songs will compete in Vegas. This takes the power away from the music executives and big corporations and gives it back to the people.
5. Support your favorite bands
If your favorite band enters the competition you can tell all your friends to vote for them. That way you will help your favorite band reach Las Vegas. The concert in Vegas will help bands get great exposure worldwide.
6. Customize your homepage
Its very simple to pimp out your homepage. I have a nice Bentley in my backround:) I love music and cars.
Also, its very easy to add videos and playlists.
7. Create Polls
A really cool thing about the site is you create polls about whatever you want. The polls show up on your personal page. When people answer your poll you see exactly how people answer.
8. Add me as a friend
I love getting to know new people. Add me as a friend at Worldsings to share your views on music and life. My username is Antoinette.
9. Its free
There's no membership fee for members or musicians. I think its really cool that musicians have a place to compete against the best artists in the world for free. Many music sites charge artists to post their songs and Worldsings does not.
10. Las Vegas Concert
The Worldsings concert next year is a great excuse to party in Vegas. Why not go to Vegas to see some of the top bands in the world and then do a little partying, gambling, and drinking:) Don't forget what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
