I recently saw Vantage Point and it was very good. It stars Dennis Quaid, Forrest Whittaker, William Hurt and a few other stars. Now, the plot is about the president who gets assassinated during a counter terrorist summit in Spain by, well, a terrorist faction. After an explosion, it starts to show the different sides to the story, beginning with Dennis Quaid character, who is a Secret Service agent. With each point of view, the story becomes clearer, sort of. See, this movie relies on subtle details, despite being fast paced, so the viewer could miss a few things if they are not attentive. Furthermore, it may be hard for some to keep up, cause every point of view starts at the same time, implying that there was a lot of things going on. There are also a lot of plot twists that keep people guessing, unless you know a lot of movies with plot twists, then you probably could be able to figure it out. Also, the movie does not exactly close all the loose ends, for even though they catch the main people, it doesn't tell if they will go look for the terrorist faction that did this...Though they probably will....
In short, this is a pretty good movie that all good movies should follow. It is quick, fast paced, just that the ending isn't as satisfying as one would hope.
9.3 out of ten.
