I'm reading this one short story called The Occurence at Owls Bridge. It is pretty good if you have ever read it. It is about this Confederate soldier who has been captured and is about to be hanged by a town, but just as they hang them, the rope breaks, he falls to the ground, and makes a run for it.
For those that read...
Spoiler:
For those that read, I know that he actually died from the hanging.... |
I also liked the time machine, for that was pretty good.
So what are some of your favorites... ___ My DA story hub thingy

The Most Dangerous Game. Just goes to show you that the human brain is one of the deadliest weapons. Despite being outgunned (literally, he had no gun), the protagonist managed to elude and outsmart the antagonist. Also, I'm a sadistic psychopath, and the thought of two humans fighting to the death for sport mildly amuses me. ___

God, I hated An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge. Basically a parody of Romanticism followed by a slap of Realism. ___

It is like that old saying, happiness is 9\10's perception and 1\10 reality; except 1\10 in this case is very powerful indeed.... ___ My DA story hub thingy
