Stunned doctors have discovered a one-year-old girl is carrying a BABY in her tummy. Little Kang Mengru, from China, left medics baffled after her belly became enlarged.

Doctors carried out a CT scan to discover the cause of the growth and found a foetus inside her. They believe the tot is her parasitic twin. She is now waiting for an operation to have the tiny baby removed.

DALLAS - A robber rolled into a Dallas convenience store came armed with a bat and a knife. He left with a lot of condoms and an energy drink.

Dallas police Cpl. Kevin Janse said Friday that a man in a wheelchair entered a Dallas 7-Eleven Wednesday afternoon, rolled straight toward the cash register and beat it with a baseball bat until it opened.

But he didn't grab any cash. Instead, police say he stole 10 boxes of condoms and an energy drink before making his getaway Wednesday afternoon.

Janse says the suspect may have been homeless and was likely intoxicated at the time of the robbery.

I take the cta (chicago public trains) and I go everyday with my one friend since we have about the same schedule. Today we were on the train and its making its usual stops and then this one guy comes on. He sits in the row next to me and im just listening to my ipod and I notice hes looking at me. I start to feel uncomfortable because just glances have turned into staring and so i tell my friend that this man is staring at me. We just ignore it and then he stards masturbating in the train while he is looking at me and this is continuing. Luckily my stop was 10 minutes away and then he starts talking to himself about how he likes 18 year olds and that hes 44 and has STDS. LOS ANGELES — Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have welcomed a baby girl.

Honor Marie Warren was born June 7 in Los Angeles, her rep, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed for People magazine.

This is the couple's first child. Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. The two met while working on "Fantastic Four," for which Warren was the director's assistant. They became engaged last December.

It's both a teenager's dream and a parent's worst nightmare.

Blake Peebles, a 16-year-old from Raleigh, NC., dropped out of high school last September in order to devote more time to playing Guitar Hero, according to an article in the Raleigh News & Observer. Peebles, who's receiving at-home tuition in lieu of his schooling, puts himself among the top 15 or 20 Guitar Hero players in the country, and has racked up about $1000 in prizes so far.

Only a handful are able to make a living from professional gaming, but the number is growing. Peebles, who plays under the alias "Dreminem," hopes to become one of them. Although his parents didn't want him to ditch school, in the words of the article he "bugged them until they let him quit."

"We couldn't take the complaining anymore," Peebles' mother Hunter told the News & Observer. "He always told me he thought school was a waste of time." Blake hopes to win a place at the 2008 World Cyber Games Grand Final, which takes place in Germany in November, where -- if successful -- he'd take on gamers from over 70 countries.

Would he have better career prospects if he'd dropped out of school to be an actual guitarist? Time will tell.

and im totally freaking out. My classes are kind of spread out and im scared ill get lost on the way. Also, im taking the train to school and back and I feel like Im going to miss the right train and end up going to the bad neighborhood. Gahhh I wish i was still in high school at times like this =/

Theres this girl who ive been friends with for a while now but ever since we started going to different colleges, we rarely talk but I feel like I am always the one who has to start a convo and whenever I ask to hang out, its always this or that. Before we would alwayss hang out. Should going to a different college really make you stop beings friends with someone you were once close to?

So in english class today we were talking about an essay due next week when the convo goes on a tangent and we start talking about random animal facts. One kid brought up that male giraffes mount each other. eww hahahaha and chimps are actually much more into war that I had thought. They have tribes and they LOVE war. GALVESTON, Texas - A jury sentenced a young father Wednesday to 25 years in prison for severely burning his infant daughter after putting her in a microwave and turning it on for up to 20 seconds.

Joshua Mauldin was teary-eyed after hearing the sentence. His mother sobbed loudly in the courtroom.

The jury had convicted Mauldin on Tuesday of felony injury to a child, rejecting his claims that he was insane when he put his daughter Ana in the microwave last year.

Prosecutors had wanted him sentenced to the maximum of life in prison. Still, Galveston County prosecutor Xochitl Vandiver said she was satisfied with the sentence.

"It's extremely important for people to know that just because this case was sensational, it doesn't mean that (child abuse) goes away," she said. "Child abuse is an important issue. It should be focused on."

Sam Cammack III, Mauldin's attorney, had asked jurors to consider his client's long history of mental illness and sentence him to probation so he could be treated at a hospital.

"He still doesn't get the treatment for mental illness that he needs," Cammack said. "He's not going to get that in prison."

Jurors deliberated for 6 1/2 hours over two days before sentencing Mauldin. They also fined him $10,000.

Prosecutors said Mauldin hurt his daughter because he was angry that he was in a loveless marriage. They also said Mauldin had a history of violence and of lying about being mentally ill to get out of trouble.

Mauldin claimed he started hallucinating when he was left alone in a Galveston hotel room with his daughter, feeling like mud was running up his body and consuming him.

Just before putting her in the room's microwave, he punched the then 2-month-old child and placed her in the room's safe and refrigerator.

Mauldin at first told police his daughter had been severely sunburned, later changing his story and saying he had accidentally spilled hot water on her while making coffee.

Ana suffered second- and third-degree burns to her left ear, cheek, hand and shoulder and required two skin grafts. Part of her left ear had to be amputated.

Joanie Mauldin pleaded for mercy, saying her son did not know what he was doing.

The girl's foster mother, Heather Croxton, told jurors Ana, now 1, screams during the daily process of cleaning the wounds and endures physical therapy five days a week.

Croxton, whose husband is a step-cousin to the girl's mother, Eva Mauldin, said she hopes to adopt Ana.

A trial to terminate the Mauldins' parental rights is scheduled for April. Eva Mauldin refused defense attorneys' requests to testify and lives in Arkansas.

BRADENTON, Fla. - Authorities say a woman has been arrested in west Florida after pouring scalding hot water on her husband's groin. Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 52-year-old woman on Wednesday on a charge of aggravated battery with great bodily harm.

The woman was being held at the Manatee County jail on $7,500 bond.

Authorities say the woman boiled the water and threw it on her husband's groin while he slept. He sustained second degree burns and ran out of the house screaming while a relative called 911, according to a sheriff's report.

The man was flown to a Tampa hospital for treatment. The report said the woman did not give a reason for pouring the water on her husband, but said she had been drinking alcohol.

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - A man claiming to be a Catholic priest was arrested Friday at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport after he was caught carrying 7.7 pounds of cocaine under his robes, a spokesman for Dutch border police said.

The suspect, whose identity was being traced, initially refused to undergo a routine body check "for religious reasons," spokesman Robert van Kapel said.

He said the man was then spotted lining up at a different entrance gate. He was searched and the drugs were found in packages taped to his body.

"We've seen a lot of things, baseballs filled with cocaine, wine bottles, plaster casts, but this is a first," Van Kapel said.

He said the man, who was traveling from Bolivia, continued to insist he is a priest and did not confess any wrongdoing, arguing his rights had been violated by the search.

Van Kapel said that was bunk.

"If you want to enter (Europe) you have to pass a security check, you have to cooperate and you can't refuse a body search," he said. "He'll be brought before a judge today."
