Fresh prince of bel-air

The player takes the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who must fight his way through a stricken mining ship infested with Necromorphs, a hostile alien species. The game features an 'over the shoulder' third-person perspective, similar to games Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War. The interface does not feature a traditional head-up display. Instead, information is relayed to the player via holographic projections, which hover over Isaac's weapons and armor.

Set in the distant future, Dead Space revolves around Isaac Clarke, a space engineer who works for the Concordance Extraction Corporation (C.E.C), a company that operates "giant mining ships" throughout the galaxy. His company receives a distress call from the USG Ishimura, a “Planet Cracker” class ship that destroys planets in order to extract valuable ore. Assuming that a mechanical failure is the only problem, Isaac and two other C.E.C employees set out to rendezvous with the Ishimura. However, they discover that the ship has been overrun by Necromorphs, a hostile alien race dependent upon necrotic flesh. Separated from his party, Isaac must survive the Necromorph infestation and battle his way to safety through the Ishimura's various environments.

The game begins with the player's character landing in the northern territory of Leboa-Sako and being introduced to the harsh reality of life in the country. On the way to the town of Pala in a cab, the player character begins to suffer from the effects of malaria and passes out. He awakes inside the hotel and finds the Jackal standing over him. With the player incapacitated by illness, the Jackal briefly offers some insight into his philosophy, quoting from Friedrich Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil about the will to power. He threatens the player character with a machete and a pistol, but ultimately chooses to spare his life, leaving the weapons behind and departing.

I HATE essays, especially college ones. I have to this lame essay about a person or a place. I have some ideas but nothing is really clicking. Our teacher warned our essays better be "better than average" or he will take off points...whatever that means. Hello, i am MadSkillz a fellow BC'er. Just saying to all new members that this a delightful site that is garunteed to be different from any other site. The people here are great, and i think i speak for alot of people here when i say i laugh and enjoy my time here.

Its time to register for the tournament people!

All you need to do is post an image of your character, your username, your partner’s username, and team name!

if there is an image that represents you and your partner, and you both consent. Then only one needs to register you both. Otherwise register as an indivisual.

There is no work involved for you in the tournament (just to register), the first round winners will be selected by luck (if you believe in such a thing). Registration will end April 9th (date may be changed).

Again, if you do not have a partner, PM me and we shall arrange one for you. Your character will take on your fighting style for the tournament, and your username will be used throughout the tournament. So with that said, Let the registration begin!
