Fightstick=Arcade Stick for anyone that doesn't know. They can get pretty pricey but I got mine for $50 (+$10 shipping). I got the Hori EX2 for 360 aka this:

I can honestly say it's a must have for fighting game enthusiasts. So far I've had no problems at all except the learning curve. It's slightly akward making the transition between a d-pad an the joystick but it doesn't take long ot pwn with it.

It's made of all japanese parts, meaning it will have a square gate. I don't know if that's a problem, it's hard to explain but it means the joystick moves along in a square pattern instead of an octogonal pattern like say the analog stick on a gamecube controller. You can always mod it if it annoys you but I got used to it within no time.

Depending on what fighting game your playing, most of the time you don't have to move your hand to hit a button.
