What affect, if any, do you believe time travel will have on the human soul, if you believe in the human soul and time travel?

Personally, I believe that if a person could time travel, and began altering their past or anyone's past haphazardly, not only could their be physical ramifications, but a person soul could become corrupted in a way. For example, let's say there was a highly respectable doctor. We'll call him Dr. Ed. Now, Dr.Ed creates a time machine to simply explore time, not exactly to interfere with events. He goes back to a certain date to view a terrible accident. While there, he sees a young, sweet-faced boy that would have been crushed if he had not jumped out of the time machine and pulled him away. When he returns back to his own time he finds his future to be very different. The boy he saved becomes one of the people who helps fund his research, essentially his boss. However, the boy as an older man does not particularly like Dr.Ed and in fact, actually tries his best to besmirch and discredit any research that Dr. Ed does. Now perhaps this example is not particularly effective, for we do not look at it from the time traveler's point of view, who perhaps have some sort of memory of the past timeline, but this can show how one's soul can become a bit corrupt.

mhmm.... if Dr Ed. got depressed tho, over his boss being quite unliking towards him, perhaps he'd never have built the time machine? It's like that... uh, Grandfather paradox thing, right?

Or perhaps he DID make the time machine, but his boss made him so bitter that he did not care to save any little boy, therefore deleting his boss, starting over the cycle again.

Time travel would just screw everything up lol. You could only use it to affect someone elses life, you couldn't even ask someone to change yours, because you asking would cause that cycle-thing.

As far as corrupting a person goes, I believe you can only corrupt that one person in that one universe. As there may be an infinite amount of universes (an infinite amount of life stories for one person), only one of them is being effected.

so64, when we (hopefully) get an office for BC, and if you decide to work there, I have a composition notebook full of scientific philosophy we should discuss. If you have any notes written down we should discuss that as well.

Hi..
Some times I think about that what happen if human soul could time travel?If this happens there will be advantages and also some disadvantages with it.May be a person could change his past but then what happen about the future?
